Networking Groups

Wherever your life has taken you since you finished your PhD, you might not be far from DTA alumnus. Our community is continually growing, and the number of groups and networks spread across the country (and world!) continues to grow as well. We want to make it easy for our alumni to connect with one another. Join one of the regional or special interest alum groups and make new friends, enjoy professional networking opportunities and socialise with fellow Imperial alumni around the world. Have an interest but don’t see it covered by a current group? Why not start your own? Contact Emma@unialliance.ac.uk who will assist you in setting up a new DTA chapter or network.

What do alum groups do?

  • Keep in touch with each other and with the DTA.
  • It gives new alum a chance to make friends.
  • Atend some fun social events!
  • Develop valuable professional networking opportunities.

Regional chapters: Meet alum who are local to you. If you are new to a city, use your local group to make friends!

Special interest groups: Make connections, share ideas, and collaborate with others interested in your research area e.g., DTA Women’s alum network
