Peer-Led Learning

This year, DTA has introduced Peer Led Learning scheme for DTA researchers. The DTA PLL Scheme aims to provide PGRs with a platform to share their knowledge and experiences and support each other during their doctoral journey. Student PLL Leaders will design and facilitate online sessions every two months. The sessions will be interactive allowing participants to ask questions and take part in the discussion freely. Every session will be structured around a topic relevant to the PhD journey. 

A huge welcome to our PLL Leaders:
Naomi Thompson, Future Societies researcher from Anglia Ruskin University. Noami’s PhD research topic is: “Investigating links between a music therapy service and the reduction of Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms (BPSD) for people living with Dementia in acute NHS inpatient wards”. 

 

Heng Jie Choong, Future Societies researcher from Coventry University. Heng’s PhD research topic is: “Novel Information-Theoretic Causality Measure with application in Neuroscience and Dementia”.

 

 

Molly Foster, Future Societies researcher from University of Greenwich. Molly’s PhD research topic is: “Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Livestock and Reduction of Meat Consumption”.
