DTA monthly seminars are dedicated to providing DTA researchers with a regular space to practise presenting project work and hear from other members of the DTA community. They aim to provide a supportive environment to discuss challenges and methodologies, and receive feedback from peers and academic staff.
We strongly encourage all DTA researchers to share their research at seminars throughout their time on the programme. Seminar presentations do not need to be long or polished. You may wish to share progress on your project so far, and invite feedback from attendees on anything you are particularly struggling with (for example, designing methods or completing a literature review).
Researchers part of the DTA Future Societies cohort will be sent calendar invites for these monthly seminars. DTA researchers part of other programmes are also welcome to attend.
If you are interested in presenting at the seminars or being added to the calendar invites to attend, send an email to dta@unialliance.ac.uk. Please note that it may be possible for several presenters to present at a single seminar under a similar topic.
Seminars take place on Teams and are scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month from 4pm-5pm. Visit our events page to view all upcoming seminars.
