To support your professional and research development we would encourage you to seek out a mentor from outside of your supervisory team.
There are a wide range of free resources available to help you set up a mentoring relationship. The following three documents draws on these to provide specific advice and resources to support DTA researchers to make the most of their networks in order to recruit and work with a mentor. We highly recommend looking at the follow two resources yourselves in order to develop your understanding of what mentorship means, and what it can offer you.
