🔸 If you disagree, it's a chance to further refine your argument. 

 

2. Don't take (most) people's opinion to heart 

🔸 It's OK to do things differently. It might be scary but you're a scientist and innovator. The whole point is to do something new! 

🔸 You know yourself & your aspirations best, trust your gut. 

 

3. Seek out advice 

🔸 Be proactive, ask for information interviews, listen, learn from others. 

🔸 Be excited for people ahead of you and the achievements of your peers. 

 

4. Have clear goals & objectives 

🔸Know what you want. Set a plan. Stick to it. 

🔸 Be comfortable in saying "no". 

🔸 Regularly monitor your progress.
