Mapping Your Researcher Journey with the Refreshed RDF 2025

Workshop overview

The Researcher Development Framework (RDF) is a professional development tool developed by Vitae to support researchers in recognising and planning their skills and career development.

This workshop introduces the refreshed RDF 2025 to postgraduate researchers (PGRs) and guides them in using it as a hands-on tool to plan their professional and career development during their PhD. The refreshed Vitae RDF 2025 is an updated version of the original 2010 framework, designed to better reflect the evolving needs of researchers and the research environment.
