Monthly Seminar Series: Writing at the Crossroads - approaches that challenge conventional forms of academic writing while remaining research-informed

Monthly seminars are dedicated to providing researchers with a regular safe space to practise presenting project work, discuss challenges, methodologies, receive feedback as well as hear from supervisors and professional staff about career journeys and research interests.

This session introduces participants to approaches that challenge conventional forms of academic writing while remaining research-informed. It builds on insights that have emerged during a year-long, collaborative online course called “Researching and Writing at the Crossroads” and exposes participants to a range of writing practices and methods,  including autoethnographic, visual, narrative and reflexive approaches

Topic: Writing at the Crossroads

Speaker: Nico Pizzolato, Middlesex University
