Positivism, post-positivism, interpretivism, feminism, postcolonialism, critical realism… If you have got the fear of isms, you are not alone! In this session we will get back to basics on what the isms are about, how far down each rabbit hole you really need to go, and think about the relative importance of theoretical frameworks, ontology and epistemology.
