Peer Led Learning: Introduction to LaTeX - a tool for typesetting professional-looking documents

Workshop overview

This session will give you an overview of LaTeX, which is a document preparation system designed to produce high-quality typeset output. It is mostly used for technical and scientific documents, but it can be used for almost any type of publishing. It's widely used in academia for communicating and publishing scientific papers.

This session will be led by Heng Jie Choong, DTA Future Societies Researcher from Coventry University. Heng is in the final year of his PhD, has been using LaTeX since the start of his research, and has an intermediate competency level with the tool. Heng will share his knowledge and experience of using LaTeX. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, contribute to the discussion, and/or share their knowledge.
