Hosted by Coventry University, Thesis Boot Camp (TBC) is an intensive and supportive writing programme aimed at late-stage doctoral researchers but can be helpful to any PGRs who need to really focus on getting a large amount of writing completed. This three day programme is highly structured enabling you to make significant progress on the first draft of your thesis (or other writing for your PhD).

TBC ultimately provides you with the time, environment and inspiration to produce a large number of words. The focus is on overcoming writers block and increasing your word count. The only way to achieve this is engaging with the required preparatory tasks in the weeks leading up to the Boot Camp. 

You are eligible to apply to be a Thesis Boot Camp recruit if you are:
 

• A postgraduate research student (MRes, PhD, Professional Doctorate)
• In need of an intensive and supportive writing programme to really focus on getting a large amount of writing completed.
• Able to clearly identify how you would benefit from an intensive period of drafting a particular section of your thesis
• Able to commit to completing preparatory tasks, attend all sessions, and engaging with the ethos of dedicated writing required at TBC
